Welcome to the new Team Hego Racing website!
In 2012, Daniel Hegarty will be competing in the Thundersport GB Championship.
This is the level below the National Championships which Dan competed in before his elbow injury of 2010 which cut short his National Superstock 1000 season. Last year Dan felt ready to return to the British Superstock series but after meetings with his team and sponsors it was decided that 2012 will be a year to ensure full strength in his elbow, ensure a good team infrastructure, spend more time learning the TT course and source funding to give the British Championships and Isle of Man TT a full assault in 2013.
Targets for 2012
- To win the Thundersport GB Championship.
- To compete at the IOM TT and finish within the top 15 competitors.
- To compete in 4 Selected British Superstock Rounds and finish in the top 12 as a Wildcard.
- To compete at the Ulster Grand Prix for the first time.
- To compete at the Scarborough road races for the first time.
